Description:

Yale Law School’s Ludwig Program in Public Sector Leadership will host the discussion, “Leadership in the Age of Outrage,” featuring Karthik Ramanna, Professor of Business and Public Policy at the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government, in conversation with Professor Jacob Hacker, Stanley B. Resor Professor of Political Science, Yale University, and Faculty Director of the Ludwig Program in Public Sector Leadership.

As societies become angrier, managers must condition themselves to respond sensitively. Professor Ramanna’s work offers a framework for managing outrage that draws on analytical insights from disciplines as wide-ranging as the science of aggression, managerial economics, organizational behavior, and political philosophy.

The event, which is co-sponsored by the Jackson School of Global Affairs, is open to the Yale community. Space is limited and registration is required.
