Description:
The Blue Center for Global Strategic Assessment will host a lecture on “Legacies of the War on Terror” as part of the center’s Co-Lectures in the Theory and Practice of Statecraft series. The lecture will be delivered by Oona Hathaway, Gerard C. and Bernice Latrobe Smith Professor of International Law, and Mara Karlin, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy, Plans, and Capabilities (’20-23).
The series pairs practitioners from government and industry with Yale professors to deliver joint, hour-long lectures on subjects of mutual expertise. Practitioners discuss events or policy initiatives in which they participated, and academics cover related insights or results generated by their research.
The lectures are open to the Yale community. Registration is required.
