The lecture will be delivered by Timothy Snyder, Richard Levin Professor of History and Global Affairs, and David Shimer, who served at the White House National Security Council from 2021 to 2025, including as the Director for Eastern Europe and Ukraine and as Director for Russian Affairs.

The series pairs practitioners from government and industry with Yale professors to deliver joint, hour-long lectures on subjects of mutual expertise.
