The Jackson Institute provides two summer fellowships for Yale undergraduate student projects, including internships and independent research projects.
Applications for both fellowships are due February 20, 2019.
Les Aspin ’60 International Public Service Fellowships
- available to sophomores and juniors for research projects on issues related to national security and global affairs (i.e. foreign policy, defense, diplomacy, intelligence, economic development, education, conflict resolution; the environment, and more)
- U.S. or international projects will be considered
- preference given to Global Affairs majors
Leitner International Research and Internship Fellowships
- available to freshmen, sophomore, or juniors for projects contributing to an understanding of international affairs
- projects must take place outside the U.S.
- projects can include independent research, internships, or formal study/coursework
- preference given to Global Affairs majors
- awards of up to $5,000
