The Jackson Institute provides two summer fellowships for Yale undergraduate student projects, including internships and independent research projects.

Applications for both fellowships are due February 20, 2018.

 

Les Aspin ’60 International Public Service Fellowships

  • available to sophomores and juniors for research projects on international affairs and security
  • projects may be with a U.S. government agency, non-profit corporation or other nongovernmental organization
  • preference given to Global Affairs majors, but available to non-majors

Leitner International Research and Internship Fellowships

  • available to freshmen, sophomore, or juniors for projects contributing to an understanding of international affairs
  • projects can be independent research, internships, or formal study/coursework
  • preference given to Global Affairs majors, but available to non-majors
  • awards of up to $5,000
