The Jackson Institute for Global Affairs hosted the talk, “Challenges Facing the UN Security Council: A Conversation with Matthew Mycroft, UK Permanent Representative to the United Nations” on Nov. 10, 2016, in Horchow Hall, GM Room (55 Hillhouse Ave., New Haven).
Ambassador Rycroft offered his insights on the major challenges facing the UN Security Council and what impact a new US administration is likely to have on the work of the Council. He also shared his thoughts on other major international issues, including Brexit, Syria and UN reform.
The event was moderated by Kanbar Hossein-Bor, a 2016 World Fellow.
