We are pleased to announce the 2022-2023 Jackson School Senior Fellows.

Jackson Senior Fellows are leading practitioners in various fields of international affairs who spend a year or semester at Yale teaching courses and mentoring students.

Robin Miller photo
Robin Miller
Miller is Dalberg’s Regional Director for Africa, based in Johannesburg. She also leads the firm’s Global Data & Digital Practice where she focuses on the design and incubation of digital and data solutions that enable inclusive economic growth. Her day-to-day work includes advising national governments, co-designing new initiatives tech innovators, and supporting investors and foundations on the deployment of capital. Prior to Dalberg, Miller co-founded Praekelt.org, a tech-enabled enterprise that designs products, services and experiences to enable access to healthcare and economic development. 
Hanscom Smith photo
Hanscom Smith
Smith is a retired Department of State Senior Foreign Service Officer. During his 32-year career, he served as consul general in Hong Kong and Shanghai, as acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State responsible for China, Taiwan, and Mongolia, and in various positions at the United States embassies in Yaounde, Copenhagen, Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Kabul, and Beijing.

Joyce-Ann Wainaina
Wainaina is Head of Global Subsidiaries Group for Citi Sub Sahara Africa. Citi provides Corporate and Investment Banking solutions to the subsidiaries of our Global Multinational clients across Sub Sahara Africa covering 11 countries in South, East, West and Central Africa. She has an extensive career with Citi starting in 1990 and has held senior positions across Africa covering country management, corporate banking, product management, operations and controls.
