Two recent Jackson MA alumni are among the Aspen Security Forum’s Rising Leaders Program Class of 2021.
Tara Chandra MA ’16 and Jarod Taylor MA ’19 are part of the inaugural cohort of 31 young professionals.
The program brings together individuals between the ages of 25-35 to discuss policy solutions for many of the world’s most complex problems. Hailing from diverse backgrounds and sectors, all Rising Leaders have one thing in common – their passion for national security and foreign policy.
Chandra is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at UC Berkeley whose research falls primarily at the intersection of gender and international security.
Taylor is a foreign area officer in the U.S. Army.
