Rear Admiral (ret.) John Weigold has more than 25 years of experience working with senior leaders across a variety of public, private, and government organizations developing strategy and executing plans and operations.  He has worked as a partner in the world's top human capital firms, helping organizations find top talent in the technology, aerospace/defense, security, and industrial sectors worldwide.  His career in the U.S. Navy spanned 33 years, and he most recently served as the Reserve Deputy Commander for the U.S. Pacific Fleet, headquartered at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, with responsibility for 200 ships/aircraft, and more than 140,000 sailors and civilians in the Indo-Pacific region.  He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science.  He is also a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College and the Joint Forces Staff College.  He currently serves as the General Manager of the Cambria Community Services District in Cambria, CA, and he serves on the corporate advisory board of Raxium, as well as the board for the U.S. Navy League of Western Connecticut.

At Jackson, he is one of the undergraduate Capstone Course instructors for the 2024-2025 academic year.
