Anthony Kivlehan is a Petraeus-Recanati-Kaplan (PRK) Fellow pursuing a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) at the Jackson School of Global Affairs, aiming to deepen his understanding of global security affairs and engage with the distinguished faculty, staff, and students. Prior to attending Yale, he served for two years on the Joint Staff in the Directorate of Operations at the Pentagon. Anthony has more than 17 years of active-duty service in the U.S. Army, including more than 12 years in Special Operations.
He holds a master’s degree in international studies from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in environmental geography from the United States Military Academy. After completing his studies at Yale, Anthony will return to Washington, D.C., to serve in the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) liaison network with select interagency organizations.
