Ardina Hasanbasri is a Lecturer at the Jackson School of Global Affairs and a faculty affiliate at the Economic Growth Center. She teaches courses on fundamentals of economics and approaches to international development. Prior to joining Yale, she taught in the Economics Department at the University of Michigan. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Washington University in St. Louis. Her research interest includes development, labor, property rights, gender, survey methodology and data analytics. She is also a consultant at the World Bank's the Development Data Group focusing on the Living Standard Measurement Study-Plus (LSMS+) Survey.
