Arjun Warrior is a junior majoring in history. He’s studying political and economic inequality in the U.S. and South Asia, with particular interest in casteism, democracy, and housing and labor policy. He spent his most recent summer in New Delhi, working for the Safai Karmachari Andolan, a social movement dedicated to the abolition of manual scavenging. In New Haven, he helps lead the Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project and runs shifts at YCK, the student-run soup kitchen. He grew up in Southern California, where he played lots of frisbee and worked on campaigns, policy, and speechwriting for swing district Democrats. He spends his free time walking dogs, playing soccer, and trying to cook.
