Austin Rose is a joint degree student at the Jackson School of Global Affairs and Yale Law School focused on local government policy, regulation, and economic growth. Before coming to Yale, Austin served as a Marine Logistics Officer in Okinawa, Japan, where his unit was awarded Marine Corps Motor Transportation Unit of the Year for 2022. Austin received a BA in public policy and economics from Brown University, where he conducted research on zoning regulations, occupational licensing, and municipal water quality.
