Camden Dyer is an MPP candidate at the Jackson School of Global Affairs, focusing on political economy and methods to promote inclusive economic development in working communities and emerging markets.

Before arriving at Jackson, Camden served for two years as a community economic development volunteer with the Peace Corps in Costa Rica, where he partnered with local development organizations. Prior to his time in the Peace Corps, Camden interned at the U.S. Department of State, first in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor in the Office of International Labor Affairs, and later at the U.S. embassy in Quito, Ecuador, where he worked in the Political and Economic section. Across both roles, Camden focused on global labor relations and the structural barriers to unionization.

Originally from New Orleans, Camden graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from Washington University in St. Louis.
