Chloe Nield (SM ‘25) is a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major from Wilmington, Delaware. Chloe is particularly interested in studying the effects of climate change on demand and access to healthcare resources, and how it can exacerbate already existing disparities. Chloe is passionate about equitable access to healthcare and hopes to combine her interest in medicine with policy to enact change. She works in the Ferguson Lab in the Yale School of Medicine’s Cellular Biology Department and is a staff reporter for the Yale Daily News on the Science and Technology desk. Chloe incorporates her love of coffee and clothing into her time at Yale as well. She is co-director of Common Closet at Yale, a clothing consignment and donations service focused on sustainability, and works as a barista in The Acorn, Silliman’s student-run coffee shop.
