Eiichiro has nine years of experience in research and consulting supporting corporate clients’ new market entry across Southeast Asia. Before coming to Yale, He worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting’s Tokyo and Bangkok office, and at Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting. From 2018-2022, he initiated and served as a director of consulting practice at Myanmar Survey Research, a local research firm, supporting Japanese clients’ market research and partnership activities in Myanmar while nurturing a team of local consultants and industry experts. 
At Jackson, he intends to study international development with a focus on creating policies to nurture businesses in emerging but conflicting or remote regions.
Eiichiro was born in Tokyo, Japan, and received a Bachelor of Law from Keio University in 2013. He is a Rotary Global Grant scholar representing his home district in Kamakura, Japan (District 2780). He resides in New Haven with his wife Rei and daughter Sei.
