Federico Pérez is a Colombian entrepreneur and conservation strategist dedicated to driving systemic environmental change. He is the founder and CEO of Selvitas, a social enterprise advancing forest conservation across Colombia through community-driven restoration, innovative finance, and impactful storytelling.

Currently, Federico is pursuing a joint Master of Environmental Management at Yale School of the Environment and a Master of Public Policy in Global Affairs at Yale Jackson School. Drawing on his expertise in economics (Michigan State University) and supply chain management (MIT), he designs scalable, cross-sector approaches to climate resilience.

Federico has been recognized as an IUCN Young Changemaker, One Young World Ambassador, and U.S. Department of State Young Leader. His professional experience includes collaborations with the International Trade Centre and various high-level multilateral initiatives aimed at shaping public policy. He also serves on the Latin America board of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, advocating for global sustainability initiatives. Through his multifaceted work, Federico bridges science, policy, and finance to create lasting global impact.
