Frances Klimczak is a joint degree candidate at the Jackson School of Global Affairs and the School of Management. Frances graduated magna cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross with a degree in mathematics and was commissioned into the US Navy. She served aboard USS Halsey as the Gunnery Officer, commanded an MKVI Patrol Boat, and served on the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) strategic action group at the Pentagon. She led sailors on two western Pacific deployments and provided a critical operational perspective to CNO’s staff. She continues to serve as a Naval reservist. At Yale, Frances is exploring how social entrepreneurship can empower young female leaders, and how public-private partnerships can expand the reach of grassroots organizations.
