Gabriel Falk is a joint MBA/MPP candidate at Yale School of Management and the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. His work focuses on international development finance, particularly around reducing the cost of capital for businesses in emerging markets through innovative practices such as blended finance, AI-assisted investment, and other creative solutions that work for emerging markets where traditional models have failed. He is excited to combine his experience in international development programming with his business and policy education to improve connections and understanding between international financial institutions and emerging market businesses.

Before Yale, Gabriel worked in the international development sector as a project manager. He initially focused on governance and security-sector programming in West Africa before later transitioning to a private sector engagement focus. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys bartending, bicycle touring, hiking, and trying to visit every desert he can. Gabriel speaks fluent French as well as intermediate Russian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Gabriel grew up in Ithaca, New York, and received his bachelor’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University.
