Laura Minoli is an MPP candidate at the Jackson School of Global Affairs. Prior to joining Jackson, Laura held a variety of policy and operational delivery roles in the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office and Department for International Trade, including serving as Private Secretary to an international trade minister. Whilst at Jackson, Laura hopes to focus her studies on the intersection of US, UK, and European foreign policies, particularly as relates to climate, security, and development. Having lived and worked in Japan through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, she also has a keen interest in the Asia-Pacific region.
Laura completed her BA in history at the University of Cambridge, achieving a Double First Class with Distinction. She also completed an Advanced certification in the Russian language. Laura is the recipient of a Mellon Fellowship to support her studies at Jackson.
