Liam Graf is a first-year M.P.P. student at the Jackson School of Global Affairs, whose studies focus on the intersection between emerging technology and U.S. foreign policy and national security. 

Before attending Jackson, Liam mainly worked on different development projects both domestically and internationally. On the domestic side, Liam’s first full-time position was as a civic technology analyst for CTC Technology and Energy where he worked as a consultant on a variety of state and local broadband development initiatives such as New Mexico Student Connect and GA Student Connect. Internationally, Liam’s most recent position was serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. His primary project in Ecuador centered around improving English language proficiency for students and English teachers in Gonzanama Canton located in the Loja Province. He also helped establish Gonzanama’s annual Inter-Collegiate English Poetry Competition in 2023.

Liam is a graduate of the University of Miami where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in both international studies and economics. He also was a member of Miami’s Foote Fellow’s Honor Society and Sigma Iota Rho (National Honor Society for International Studies).
