Liz Vastakis is the business administrator and operations manager for the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy. She her bachelor's in accounting and her MBA from Quinnipiac University. She joined the Grand Strategy program in 2012, bringing with her extensive financial and operational experience. Some of the departments she has supported throughout her more than 29 years at Yale include Facilities, Payroll, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. In addition to the Grand Strategy program, she supports the Schmidt Program on Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technologies, and National Power; the Johnson Center for the Study of American Diplomacy; and the International Leadership Center, which includes the Yale World Fellows, Climate Fellows, and Peace Fellows programs. She also assists Professor Paul Kennedy with management of his Maritime and Naval Affairs Initiative. She has participated in many financial and administrative committees throughout her time at Yale, and, most recently, contributed to Yale’s OneFinance Think Tank initiative.
