Nick Shevchik is an MPP student at the Jackson School of Global Affairs focused on international economic development and eastern European affairs. Prior to Jackson, he worked at an economic consulting firm for more than three years, where he focused on the antitrust, energy, and finance practice areas. Nick has an interest in using quantitative approaches to solve problems, particularly by coding in Stata, SAS, R, and Python. After Yale, he intends to work in the economic development sector and has a particular interest in Ukrainian reconstruction.
Nick received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he double majored in economics and international relations and minored in history.
