Paige Miles is an MPP candidate at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs and an active-duty U.S. Navy submarine officer. She currently serves as the nuclear programs officer for Yale’s Naval ROTC unit and coaches volleyball for Connecticut Juniors.
Prior to Yale, Paige served aboard the U.S.S. Ohio (SSGN 726) as the quality assurance officer and assistant engineer during a major maintenance availability. She also completed a strategic deterrence patrol and a Western Pacific deployment.
Originally from Oklahoma, Paige graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics, ranked first academically. While at USNA, she was a varsity volleyball player, served as a battalion commander, and conducted research with the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and with the Joint Allies Research Program in India. She was the honor graduate of Naval Nuclear Power School in Charleston, South Carolina.
Her policy interests include development economics, gender equity, and early childhood development.
