Patrick Pryor is a first-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) student at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. He is focused on global food policy, researching the cause and effect of global food insecurity, addressing forced migration due to a lack of healthy food, and building inclusive food systems worldwide.
Patrick has spent the last five years working at Google as an administrative business partner, primarily on the Economic and Community Development (ECD) team within the Google Data Centers organization. On the ECD team, Patrick helped maintain healthy community relations in towns where Google has a data center presence.
Along with Google, Patrick has worked for Amazon as a senior human resources assistant as well as a sourcing management associate intern with General Mills and a quality assurance intern with Meelunie America.
Patrick is originally from Detroit, MI. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in food industry management. Patrick is currently enrolled at Middlebury College, participating in their intense French summer language program.
