Pauline Acquah graduated from Cornell University in 2018, where she majored in economics and minored in business. During her undergraduate studies, Pauline spent three years working with the nonprofit organization College Mentors for Kids, where she served on the executive board as the vice president of communications and marketing. Through this organization, she worked with underprivileged elementary school students in the area and facilitated cooperation among college students involved in the program and local public school administrators. Pauline also spent a summer interning for Goldman Sachs in investment management. After graduation, Pauline joined true[x], an advertising technology company based in Los Angeles as an operations associate. There she focused on optimizing campaign delivery, providing risk analyses, and implementing cost reducing targeting strategies. She is a first-year M.A. candidate at the Jackson Institute of Global Affairs, where she intends to focus on international trade and economic policy. Pauline is also fluent in German and hopes to improve her French language skills at Yale.
