Sadie Lee is a junior at Yale College from Brooklyn, New York. She’s a humanities major studying the intersections of performance and political organizing. She has organized with the Endowment Justice Collective since her first year and is interested in studying different power-leveraging tactics and applying that knowledge to her work on campus. Sadie is particularly interested in how rhetorical storytelling has been used historically to both bolster and suppress grassroots movements. She’s interested in humor, satire, and theater as forms of political rhetoric. In her spare time, she writes for The Yale Record and performs stand-up comedy with The Cucumber. Sadie also writes and directs plays, makes pottery, and dances with the Modern Dance Collective.
