Seung Min Baik is a junior majoring in history (on the Latin America specialization) and economics. He was born and raised in Guatemala City, and both his parents are South Korean. He is interested in Latin American immigration to the U.S. and Asian diaspora formations in Latin America. He hopes to study these topics through the intersection of history, economics, human rights, and law. He currently plans to pursue graduate study in history or economics. Seung Min is an active member of the Yale Glee Club, La Casa Cultural, and the Branford community. You can usually find him watching Yale Film Archive screenings, studying at Haas Architecture Library, or eating clementines.
