Sheel Trivedi (SY ‘26) is a neuroscience major on the pre-med track from Orlando, Florida. He is passionate about raising awareness for neurodegenerative diseases, specifically advocating for informal caregivers of individuals with dementia. He hopes to gain perspective on how to better support informal caregivers and the various factors, both structural and personal, that affect caregivers across the globe. He has volunteered by mapping for disaster relief organizations and has self-published a children’s book on neuroscience and mental health. On campus, he conducts research in spinal cord neuroplasticity, is co-president of the South Asian Society, a student fellow at the South Asian Studies Council, and advises Yale Undergraduate Science Olympiad. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, going for boba runs, and chatting with friends across campus.
