Sona Lim is the assistant dean for student affairs at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. Sona advises students studying global affairs in both the Master’s in Public Policy program and the undergraduate major. She worked with former Secretary of State John Kerry at the Kerry Initiative for seven years, most recently as the assistant director overseeing the Kerry Fellows program and managing all aspects of the Initiative’s research, events, and course instruction. Sona is a Jackson School alum, having received her MA in 2013 with a concentration in international security studies, as well as a MA in political science from Columbia University.
