Trisha Gupta is a first-year MPP candidate at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. She brings a background in strategy consulting, climate research, and student leadership, most recently serving as a senior associate at L.E.K. Consulting, where she led investment and market strategy projects across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Trisha’s policy interests sit at the intersection of climate change, earth science, and sustainable development. While at NASA Langley Research Center, she built analytical tools to assess satellite anomalies and visualize environmental risk patterns. She also contributed to geochemistry research on methane biomarkers and co-authored a white paper assessing technical substitutes for NASA launches. At Rice University, she spearheaded a student-led campaign to divest from fossil fuels and the prison industrial complex, later serving as internal vice president of the Student Association.
At Jackson, Trisha is excited to deepen her engagement with climate resilience, sustainable investing, and global environmental governance. She looks forward to collaborating with interdisciplinary scholars and practitioners to design equitable climate policy rooted in technical and economic rigor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in policy studies and economics with a minor in earth science from Rice University.
