Vincient Arnold is a first-year MPP student at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. He is interested in the global financial system, public finance, central banking, and geoeconomics. Prior to joining the Jackson School, Vincient worked at the Yale Program on Financial Stability (YPFS), where he researched public sector responses to financial crises, publishing academic research on central bank currency swap lines, capital injections, emergency lending, IMF programs, and regional financial crises.

Prior to YPFS, Vincient worked at international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he worked on sanctions, export controls, and national security foreign investment screening. He holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs with distinction from the University of Virginia’s Department of Politics, with minors in East Asian studies and statistics. After graduating Yale, Vincient intends to pursue a career in public finance with a focus on international markets.
