Yasmine Chokrane is an undergraduate double majoring in political science and comparative literature. She is interested in how technology mediates political and cultural narratives of globalization and leveraging grand strategy to explore regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. This spring, she will serve as a privacy and data governance intern with the ACLU. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the AI Now Institute and held internships with the Mayor’s Migration Council and the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab. On campus, she has been involved with the Yale International Relations Association, served as a research assistant in the Anthropology and Political Science departments, and worked as a peer liaison for the World Fellows Program. Additionally, she has worked as a language tutor at the Center for Language Study and as a tour guide at the Yale Center for British Art.
